The gates of the Shattuck Windmill Park are made of Oklahoman Red Granite. Standing seven feet tall, the gates depict two of the earliest windmills manufactured, and serve to anchor a brick wall which is emblazoned with the names and dates of many of the early businesses, merchants, ranchers and homesteaders. These names appear on the wall in an approximate chronological order of the arrival of those concerned.
These monolithic gates were donated by two of the first pioneer families to settle in the area and sevre as a tribute to those pioneer settlers who helped make Shatuck the delightful town that it is today.
The Pioneer Memorial Wall is located at the Junction of U.S. Highway 283 and State Highway 15.
